About

STVMLR = Steve Miller

Hi. This is my site. Not sure how you found me, but I’m glad you’re here. Once upon a time, okay the late eighties to mid-nineties, I played in a few cool bands in Norman, Oklahoma and made a bunch of lifelong friendships while pursuing my Fine Art degree and designing swag at a t-shirt shop. This was the time of the rise of the Flaming Lips and Chainsaw Kittens, and the scene was pretty fun, even for Oklahoma.

Cut to today, I’m still making paintings, writing songs, and designing stuff for people.

During the pandemic, I started a songwriting collaboration that’s turned into a band. We call ourselves Covid Bros. My art studio doubles as a lo-fi music studio and we recorded and released two albums in 2020. We played our first live show in Pontiac in the summer of ’22, and we’re working on finishing our third release. Click on Music to check that stuff out.

I participate in multiple art shows every year. Most recently, I was part of the Muskegon Museum of Art’s 93rd Michigan Contemporary Art Exhibition. See my portfolio and learn about upcoming exhibitions by clicking on Art.

And finally, I often help passionate people with their design needs through freelance and by volunteering. See my portfolio by clicking on Design.
